Mobilozophy’s key management team has over 50 years of combined expertise in entrepreneurship, executive management, marketing, and commercial software and application development.
Paul Wray is a Managing Member who oversees all sales responsibilities and assists in managing the administration and development aspects of the Company. He has a pragmatic understanding of technology and its utilization in the direct mail and marketing practices, having succeeded for more than 30 years in those professions. An entrepreneur, Mr. Wray has started and grown several businesses that have sold within the first five (5) years of inception.
In the late 1970’s, Mr. Wray founded Omni Data Inc., a national company that provided marketing to major commercial and non-profit organizations. Omni Data developed the first real time software fundraising system to record donations and execute direct mail fund raising programs, as well as analyze and predict the actions and contributions of donors. Omni Data held national fund raising marketing contracts for many of the leading not-for-profit organizations such as, American Cancer Society, Easter Seals, March of Dimes, Salvation Army, and the Muscular Dystrophy. Omni Data was sold in 1983 to Metromail Corporation (now known as Experian).
In 1994, Mr. Wray founded Qualitative Marketing Software (QMSoft). QMSoft became the leader in GIS spatial processing with 110 employees and annual revenues of over $20 Million in the first 5 years of operation. QMSoft was a leading provider of geospatial tools for several industries including Insurance Underwriting (Allstate Insurance, State Farm Insurance, Fireman’s Fund), Telecommunications (Ameritech), Internet Services (MapQuest, Yahoo!) and major retailers. QMSoft also pioneered geospatial processing for many national direct marketing programs throughout the United States allowing marketers to more precisely target their markets using spatial processing. In late 1999, QMSoft was sold to Sagent Technology for $70 million.
Mr. Wray remained with Sagent until the fall of 2001 at which time he re-acquired the database marketing services group of QMSoft/Sagent and formed Hyphos360. Hyphos360 offered multi-channel marketing, and analytical and modeling services and solutions to retailers, catalogers, financial service providers and direct marketers. In November 2004, Primus Marketing Group acquired Hyphos360.
In 2003, Mr. Wray founded Proxix Solutions, Inc., a leader in location intelligence with a particular emphasis on insurance underwriting and hazard determination. Proxix Solutions expanded the use of spatial risk data and parcel-level geocoding with its geospatial processing via Internet services and client installations. First American Corporation acquired Proxix in October 2007. Mr. Wray served as President of First American-Proxix Solutions until March 2009.
Mr. Wray graduated from Purdue University in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management and a minor in Computer Sciences.
Lynn Bates is a Managing Member. She oversees all corporate marketing and communications functions and assists in managing the administration and development aspects of the Company.
Prior to Mobilozophy, Ms. Bates served as marketing director for Proxix Solutions, Inc., where she was responsible for marketing the company’s software and database products and all corporate communications. She has spent most of her career in marketing management roles and has experience in working with start-ups and new ventures.
Ms. Bates obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida. Additionally she has completed continuing education courses in public relations and psychology.
Jeffrey Wray serves as Director of Technology, where he is responsible for developing technology strategy and execution for Mobilozophy’s mobile marketing platform, APIs, professional services, and custom SaaS implementations.
Mr. Wray has over 10 years of programming and project management experience. He has extensive cloud computing architecture experience that accommodates extensive real-time, high-volume transactional database experience. His work has included architecting many web and mobile application projects for FORTUNE 100 companies in the following verticals: Healthcare, Hospitality, Loyalty, Oil & Gas, Entertainment, Non-Profits, and Retail. Mr. Wray also has a knack for complex API integrations into 3rd parties such as ExactTarget, Facebook, Twitter, Twilio, Open Market, Air2Web/Velti/MGage, Excentus/Centego, MailChimp, Mandrill, Constant Contact, iContact, Amazon Web Services, loyalty systems and learning management systems (LMS).
Mr. Wray earned a Bachelor’s in Computer Information Systems and a Masters in Business Administration from Stetson University.
